A Saturday Afternoon at Pike

This Saturday Greg and I decided to go down to Pike Place to take in one of our favorite Seattle activities since we didn't have anything on the calendar. It is pretty funny that we don't do this more often, but after having so much fun this Saturday I think we are going to try to make this more of a habit. We started out by going to Beechers Cheese Market and picked up some of the most delicious cheese curd with herbs you have ever tasted. Greg also had some of their "World Famous Mac and Cheese". After that, since it was a bit of a cold day, I picked up some coffee from the First Starbucks...what a mad house! I decided just to get some good old drip coffee after I saw a line, or should a say crowd of about 20 people waiting for their latte's and mocha's. With a nice cup of warm coffee in my hand, Greg and I headed to the Piroshky Bakery. I think that is Greg's favorite Pike treat. We then picked up some fresh cilantro and some limes from one of the produce stands...I am going to try to make a Cilantro-Lime Vinaigrette...I will let you know how it turns out. After that we went to the Pike Place Brewery for some appetizers, hit a fun boutique that had some great clothes from Spain and then we headed home. It was a great Saturday afternoon in Seattle!

Wow, just like me, a marathon blogging session. I have a tendendcy to do the same thing. I loved seeing and reading all your new posts. I think my favorite is the one with Red and Tia--very cute. You got some great pics of Karis' b-day, I need to get some of those from you. Aunt Nancy wants some too, so if you could e-mail, especially the ones of Stew and Hannah, that would be great. Let me know if you need their home e-mail address.
