I need your vote!

I need to pick one of these to turn in for my Day 3 Assignment of Photography class...

Tell me your favorite!!!

This is not one of the choices, since the assignment is to be "abstract", but thought is was cute...

Q: When does a busy girl in Seattle that is in a Photography class take pictures?
A: When she is waiting to get on I-405 at 4:55pm on a weekday. :)

Vance and I both vote for the tire swing. The first one, of the bolt, is my second choice.

Kara, I love the textures in all three of these--the colors of the chipped paint in #1 are so vivid, #2 is smooth and liquidy and I love the way the light and shadows play with each other, but I think #3 would be my pick. I like the composition of this image the best--you have enough of the swing that we can tell what it is, but I still had to stop and look at it for a minute to figure it out. Also, you didn't center it, and the negative space in the bottom is interesting because of the texture of the dirt. I also like the contrast in this image. So, which one did you pick?

Thanks for your input you guys! I had a really hard time picking which one to turn in. I printed all of them and didn't decide till about 5 min. before class. I have to admit the swing was my favorite too, but the assignment was "abstract" so I was not sure if it was abstract enough. SO, I actually turned in #1 and #2 because I was so torn. I got an "A+" on them both. I think I was leaning towards the one of the bolt because I think that the bolt looks like a globe. I guess I felt like that fit "abstract" best? My professor pointed out the fact that the colors are very appealing to the eye, because blue and orange are opposites. I didn't know that when I took the picture. :) I am having a blast! :)

These are great pictures!

I've actually heard that Seattle is a lot of fun...experienced a little bit of that fun myself. In fact, I'm trying to devise a way to get out there soon. When is the best time to call you to discuss possibilities? Or you can call me whenever you have a minute. I'm almost always available.
