Lions & Tigers & Bears...(you fill in the blank)

Greg and I went to the Woodland Park Zoo last weekend for the HouseValues Company Picnic.
The giraffes automatically remind me of my Grandma Kellmer. For as long as I can remember, my Grandma has LOVED giraffes. I think this is why the giraffes were my favorite animal of the day. (I love you Grandma!)

The butterfly exhibit was pretty cool too. The zoo-keeper in the exhibit had to "safely remove" the butterfly that made itself comfortable on my shoulder. There clearly is a "no flicking" rule in this area of the zoo. :)

Too funny, my Grandma Thomsen LOVES girafes too and has collected them for as long as I can remember. As kids she had quite the display. ;) Brave lady with the butterfly, I freaked out a bit in that exibit! :) Sadie

Why did I start cracking up when I read the "no flicking" rule part. I guess I could just hear you saying it, and it made me laugh. I had such a blast with you both this weekend. Can't wait til next time when we see eachother.
