Last Friday was Greg's Uncle Ed's last day of work...ever! He is now Retired!
Greg and I were invited to celebrate with Uncle Ed's family, friends and small group from church. We took off a little early from work and headed down to
Vancouver to PARTY!
Those of you that know Uncle Ed well know that he will never stop working. Uncle Ed is one of those people that just loves to serve others in anyway he can. He can fix just about anything, is always willing to lend a helping hand, is incredibly patient and is a wonderful example of a true servant of God!
It was really great to hear some letters that family wrote to him. Above you see Greg's cousin, Tony (Uncle Ed's son). He wrote and read a beautiful letter to his dad.
Below you see Zachary, one of Uncle Ed's grandsons. He also wrote a wonderful letter to his grandpa on the day of his retirement.
Here is Lori-girl being silly with a few of Uncle Ed's beautiful granddaughters...
My hubby...
It was a good time! The party went well into the night, which left some of us a little hungry. Greg and his cousin Todd went to a place called Juliano's Pizzeria in Vancouver and picked up two of the biggest pizzas I have ever seen! I wish this picture did it justice, but it just does not exemplify the mammoth-ness of it! A great way to close out our night-o-fun...

Looks like much fun had by all. But I must say, that is a really good picture of Greg! I'm quite jealous of your photography skills.
We had such a good time this past weekend. Thanks Ed and Judy for your gracious hospitality. Kara and Greggor, thanks for sharing your camera with us. Great photos!
